Speed Training-Get involved Today!
updated: November 16 2011
The Sardis Track and Field Team has organized speed training during the off-season. They are very pleased to be partnering with Mr. Howard Brandt, one of the well-known coaches with the Chilliwack Track and Field Club.
Howard is recognized as one of the foremost sprint trainers in the province, and trains athletes to improve their form, speed and power. Howard’s practices are open to any committed Sardis athletes who want to improve in these areas.
Howard’s training sessions run on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6-8PM. The athletes are currently meeting at the Sardis track building (enter from South Sumas at the Firehall). During the inclement winter months, Howard and Sardis Track coach Brad Geary, will have the athletes inside the Sardis weight room on these same days and times.
If you are a committed athlete, just show up or visit Mr. Geary in room C121 for more information.
As Howard Brandt says, “Medals are won in the Spring and Summer, but earned in the Fall and Winter.”
